Discover our silver medalist wine at the 2021 Millesime Bio Challenge
Drum rolls … We are pleased to announce you that we recently received a silver medal for our 2019 Chardonnay Sauvignon at the 2021 Millesime Bio Challenge in Montpellier. This is our second silver medal in a row at Millesime Bio Challenge – last year, our 2018 Merlot was awarded this medal.
Chardonnay Sauvignon 2019 – “A revealing blend of our terroir and grape varieties, a true white harmony of the Domaine…. ”
Our Chardonnay Sauvignon is organic. It was manually harvested in small crates from 11 to 21 September 2019 and has undergone whole- cluster pneumatic pressing for a gentle and gradual juice extraction. The wine was aged in French fine-grained oak barrels and stainless steel tanks on lees for 5 months. No suplhites were added.
Merlot 2018 – “A complex and racy Merlot, very juicy, to share.”
Our Merlot is also organic and was manually harvested in small crates on 16 September 2018. Whole berries were fermented using gravity, allowing for gentle and progressive fruit extractions. The wine was aged for 8 to 10 months in French fine-grained oak barrels.
