Domaine de Bonaguil blanc PGI Côte du Lot is a dry wine, produced from a bold mixture of two grape varieties: Chardonnay, originally from the Burgundy region, and Sauvignon, often blended with Semillon in Bordeaux. The grapes were picked manually and stored in small crates by the men and women of the Domaine during the harvest season in September.
The vines were planted in 1989 and grow on 5.2585 ha of siderolithic sands, ferruginous and fine-loamy siliceous clays. Once harvested, the clusters are crushed gently and gradually by a pneumatic press. Winemaking and breeding are carried out in French oak barrels and heat-resistant stainless-steel tanks for six months. No sulphites are added either during and after fermentation, or during bottling.
Domaine de Bonaguil Blanc is a revealing blend of our terroir and its atypical vine population: freshness, complexity and long aromatic persistence in the mouth.
